Ariel spent her childhood in Big Sur, California, which gave her an appreciation for the outdoors. There she developed a curiosity to better understand the world around her.  Ariel enjoys playing in the mountains, being near a body of water, and cooking. 

She is a strong believer in the importance of asking why. “Why” helps you understand the importance of the task at hand, identify and tease out the details of a subject, the context to develop effective solutions to problems, and perhaps most importantly, to understand peoples’ motivations.
